BRACKEN OFFICE SUITE

Design FYI wa sappointed by Bracken Workspace+ to reconfigure the existing floorplate, creating a clear separation within the suite while introducing a new landing around the main staircase. Our approach allowed the creation of an independent suite, balancing openness with definition. The result is a cohesive environment where circulation, workspace and architectural features work together seamlessly, giving the space both clarity and presence.

THE SUITE

A bespoke ceiling raft was introduced above the stair core, bringing focus and structure to the space. The linear timber elements integrate lighting and rhythm, creating a strong visual identity that anchors the landing while enhancing the overall interior.
The Bracken Office Suite reinterprets a characterful industrial space into a contemporary workplace that balances openness with structure. Original features such as exposed brickwork and large grid windows are retained and celebrated, bringing texture and natural light into the space. The entrance and meeting areas are designed as a soft transition into the workspace. Reeded glass partitions and timber panelling create a sense of separation without closing the space off, maintaining visual connection while offering privacy.
A small seating area provides a welcoming pause on arrival, while the adjacent meeting room benefits from natural light and a calm, focused atmosphere.

Beyond, the open workspace is organised to support flexibility and flow. Shared desks, informal high tables and clearly defined circulation paths allow different ways of working to coexist seamlessly. A continuous ceiling and lighting strategy subtly structures the space, reinforcing movement and orientation without the need for heavy partitioning, resulting in an environment that feels both efficient and considered.
